Bedroom makeovers
Bed time
Since most of the time spent in the bedroom is spent in or on the bed, it should
be treated as the room's design starting point. Where you want your bed positioned,
what you want to see when you wake up and the design of your bed all need taken
into consideration.
Wake me up
Before you can even think of where you want to position your bed you must first
think about. Will morning light waken you gently, or glare into your eyes? Will
there be drafts? Will you be able to reach a light switch? Where will you put
a book? Will an overhead fixture shine in your eyes? Your bed is your one true
sanctuary and should be as relaxing as possible. Take your time until your bed
is the way you want it to be.
The right position
Take all of your furniture out of your bedroom until you are left with just
the bed. Now you can play about with the bed. Move it around the room until
you are happy with it`s position. Remember that you have to bring your furniture
back in so you must allow space for them. If all of your furniture doesn`t fit
but you want to keep your bed in it`s new position think about cutting back
on some of your things. Checkout our storage solutions to help you keep your
room free of clutter with lots of ideas on how to make room in your bedroom.
Designer bed
How old is your duvet cover? Have your pillows seen better days? Is your mattress
lumpy with to much ware and tear? Well it is time to give it a make over. If
you have had your mattress for more then ten years it is defiantly time to get
a new one. Argos have a great range from airsprung to orthopaedic mattresses.
A new duvet set could make all the difference and is a inexpensive way to spruce
up your bedroom`s look. Add some more pillows and cushions of different shapes
and sizes. Cover your headboard with some matching fabric. With a little bit
of imagination you can turn your bed into anything you like. So go on have some
fun giving your bed a new look.
